3M Tegaderm CHG I.V. Securement Dressing improves site visibility and helps reduce the risk of infection. The pad of this dressing is made of CHG (Chlorhexidine Gluconate) material which provides immediate and continuous antimicrobial protection. the 3M Tegaderm dressing has a breathable film coating that keeps external bacteria and contaminants out. This breathable barrier is also transparent to allow continuous visibility of the I.V. insertion site to assess for signs of infection. This 3M Tegaderm CHG I.V Securement Dressing is sterile and not made with natural rubber latex.
