Medical Technologies of Georgia (MTG) has made its mission to improve the lives of those that require self-catheterization of the bladder. They manufacture catheters for men, women, and children, keeping in mind that this process may not be easy for all. Those that may suffer from a disease or disability such as hand and finger dexterity impairment, may have difficulty using an intermittent catheter. MTG has created the MTG EZ-Advancer valve to assure there is no slippage of the tube upon insertion and also offers the MTG EZ-Gripper that was specifically designed for a quadriplegic.
The convenient kits that MTG offers make the entire process easy from start to finish. Everything needed is included within the package such as lube, gloves, gauze, BZK antiseptic, and an underpad. Catheter sizes offered range from 8-16 French, straight, coude tip, soft or firm vinyl, and various lengths. These kits are also available as Mini-Paks which are smaller to fit in a bag, purse, or backpack for travels. If needed, MTG products can also be purchased alone and not in a kit. All of MTG's catheters are 100% latex-free, are pre-lubricated, and are closed systems.
